Mo-Ling

Mo-Ling Chui is a creative director for experiential, a brand strategist, project manager and curator with over 15 years of developing, creating, producing and delivering exciting projects, events, exhibitions, marketing campaigns, websites and activations for commercial /cultural clients and brands.

 

Recently she was a Project Manager for the University of the Arts London (UAL) department of Communications, involved in digital strategy for the new brand. This role included managing the restructuring, redesign, content strategy, technical build and testing for their new mobile responsive website and managing stakeholder relations during the process; the first phase launched in August 2013. This encompassed its six well known art colleges and over 20 campuses of UAL with the challenge of marketing locally, European-wide and internationally.

 

As Creative Director with brand.LIVE, her Olympic pavilion projects successfully launched cultural re-branding campaigns: Alberta: Spirit to Achieve and Vancouver Green Capital. Alberta House was awarded the best Canadian pavilion of 2010, for its innovative design, art/design exhibitions, sustainability, B to B hospitality and cultural showcases.

 

In 2007-2008 she was a Creative Director with Momentum Worldwide (McCann Erickson, China) leading the production team behind the largest scale ‘Experience Centre’ ever, for a top sponsor, for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. As well as advising diverse Western brands how to orient and localise their marketing strategies in the rapidly changing China market.

 

While Mo-Ling has held leadership and director roles, she is very detail-oriented, having learnt many aspects of media, print, digital, event, exhibition and building production from the ground up – since her early days as a resourceful non-profit Communications coordinator and festival co-founder.
